DuPont DuPont Lotus Notes Domino Systems DuPont knowledge management has bases in the UK and Spain and provides information systems and knowledge management to DuPont group companies. Central to that is administration and development of the corporate standard Lotus Notes (Domino) groupware systems for customers within DuPont's many businesses. When the parent company decided to close the UK operation on Teesside DuPont Knowledge Management needed to transfer Domino support and Development to Spain. With limited available resource and a massive handover program on very tight deadlines DuPont turned to Xenosys Resource Centre for help. Xenosys consultant Dominic Cheung was drafted in and he worked with DuPont, their customers and outsource partner CSC to establish a handover plan. As a fully trained Notes developer Dominic was able to provide the support and integration necessary to facilitate the changes. Documenting the existing systems and providing the liaison and hand holding needed during the critical handover exercise. Often working one on one with Spanish Knowledge Management staff to ensure that particular applications or databases were properly understood. There is no doubt that Xenosys support smoothed the handover process and DuPont's customers were pleased to have such an accommodating consultant on the team.
